We sailed from Subu, and went S.W. till 9°¾ between the headland of Subu and an island called Bohol. On the west side of the headland of Subu there is another island named Panilongo [Kabankalan], which is inhabited by blacks. Panilongo and Subu have gold and much ginger. The island lies at 9°⅓, and Subu lies at 10°⅓. We left the channel, and navigated ten leagues to the S., anchoring off the island of Bohol, and there of the three ships we made two, and burned the other [the Concepcion], not having crews enough. [Again, Albo makes no mention of the tragic events that took place at the battle of Mactán or of the planned ambush at Cebu, where 38 explorers were killed, among them, Magellan]. This island lies at 9°½.
