On the 13th, I took the sun and found 89°⅔, the declination was 9° 52', the altitude came to 10° 32', and we were in the vicinity of islands whose names we do not know, nor whether they are inhabited. They lie E.S.E. and W.N.W. with the west cape of Timor, and from here we took our course to the Cape of Good Hope, and went W.S.W.
