On the 8th, I did not take the Sun, but we sailed W.S.W., at 34° 1/3 latitude. The island of Timor is E.N.E – W.S.W of me, and Malaca is N.E. ¼ S.W. E.W of us, 50 leagues from the south of it. Today we changed direction and headed west. The day was Saturday.
