On the 10th, I took the Sun at 69° 3⁄4, it had a declination of 23° 32’, giving an altitude of 3° 17’. The Cape of las Palmas was E.–W. 1/4N.E. S.E. of us. Our course, since yesterday till now, is N.W., and the day was Tuesday.
