On the 3rd, I took the Sun at 82° 2/3, it had a declination of 22° 4’, giving an altitude of 14° 44’ and our course was W.N.W. and N., but I reckon the course was W.N.W. in all and I am 24 leagues, E.–W. off the cape, and the day was Thursday.
